Revival Committee:
The Fall Revival Committee would like to thank the New Hope Baptist Church Family
for making the Revival a great success with your presence, and most importantly,
with your prayers.

Selection Committee:
The Pastoral selection Committee will be soliciting prayers, words of encouragement,
ideas, comments or suggestions from the New Hope Baptist Church membership
concerning our selection process.  We will have a table set up every Sunday
after church services in the foyer for 5 to 10 minutes starting December 6, 2009,
where members can write down their comments or suggestions for the committee
to consider.

Showers of Blessings Report:
The Showers of Blessings Bean Bowl Ministry reports that it served 80 people on
November 21, 2009 Thanksgiving Luncheon at the Martin Luther King
Recreation Center.  A special "Thank You"  to Dr. Yondell and Mrs. Freeda Moore
for their support.  Volunteers are needed for the month of December.
Please Note:  The new hours for the Bean Bowl Ministry are from
10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.; serve at 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and
clean-up is from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Seasoned Saints Christmas Luncheon and Fellowship:
The Season Saints will hold their annual Christmas Luncheon and Fellowship on
Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at 1:00 p.m.  Join us for an afternoon of festive activities, a
delicious lunch, games, caroling and prizes.

The Heavenly Source:
New Hope Members.  Do you have something that you would like to submit to the January
2010 Edition of the "Heavenly Source"?  All contributions, articles, stories and/or church
related topics are welcome.  The deadline for submission for this edition is Sunday,

Volunteer Opportunities at New Hope:
1.  We are in need of someone to take care of the beautiful plants throughout the building.
2.  Kitchen committee to help keep the stove, supply closets and refrigerator clean.

American Baptist Women:
The American Baptist Women Ministry 2010 Calendar Project for the Vogel Alcove Childcare
Center for the Homeless has started.  Please donate a minimum of two (2) calendars to
enable the clients to write down various appointments as a reminder to keep their
appointments.  The calendar project has been a blessing to the Vogel Alcove's participants.  
Any size will be accepted from pocket to wall size.
